This Kiwi fruit chutney is one of my favourite side dishes to add taste and boost flavour to my Indian food. It can also be enjoyed as a relish in sandwich or served alongside a cheese platter.

Ingredients
4 Kiwi fruits
1 Cup sugar
¼ cup mustard oil
1 TSP turmeric (haldi) powder
1 TSP red chilli powder
¼ TSP fenugreek (methi) seeds
¼ TSP mustard (rai) seeds
¼ TSP onion (kalonji) seeds
¼ TSP fennel (saunf) Seeds
Pinch of heeng (asafoetida) powder
1 TSP turmeric(haldi) powder
1 TSP red chilli powder
Salt as per taste
Method
1. Peel Kiwi fruits and cut in small pieces
2. Heat up the mustard oil in a frying pan, add the fenugreek seeds, mustard seeds, onion seeds, fennel seeds, heeng and mix well for a few minutes.
3. Add Kiwi fruits and mix well for 2-3 minutes.
4. Add the turmeric powder, red chilli powder & salt.
5. Cook for 2 minutes on high flame.
6. Add the sugar
7. Cook for 10-12 minutes stirring regularly.
8. Chutney is now made and is ready to be enjoyed.
